Yesterday Smith’s School of English Tsukaguchi School and Smith’s School of English Okamoto School had a joint event. We went to Tofukuji Temple in Kyoto to see the autumn leaf color change. We had a fantastic time!
We were a total of 19 people. First we went to the temple. The temple and leaves were really nice and we had great weather, too. Afterwards we had some Japanese food at a Japanese restaurant for lunch, which was very good. The event ended at that time, however some of us stayed in Kyoto afterwards to do some sightseeing or shopping. I enjoyed a bit of shopping and enjoyed some time at a coffee shop with some people before going back home to Tsukaguchi.
The event was a success and my school once again enjoyed holding a joint Smith’s event! These events are great fun for both the students and the Smith’s coaches! I’m looking forward to holding my school’s next event, dinner at a restaurant in Tsukaguchi, Amagasaki City on December 14th!

＜スミス英会話ジョイントイベント －紅葉の京都－＞ ２００８年１２月１日（月）
昨日、スミス英会話塚口校と岡本校は合同でイベントを行いました。 私たち二校は京都の東福寺に秋の紅葉を見に行きました。 本当に楽しかったですよ！
全員で１９名の参加者は最初に東福寺を訪れました。 ほんとうに素晴らしいお寺で、 お天気にも恵まれた私たちは綺麗な紅葉を心行くまで楽しみました。 見学のあと、昼食は料亭で日本料理を食べましたが、これまた格別でした。 食事のあとイベントは“お開き”となりましたが、名残惜しく思った何人かはその後も京都で観光と買い物を楽しみました。 私は数名の人たちと少し買い物をして、そして喫茶店で楽しい時を過ごしたあと塚口への家路につきました。
私の学校はこれまでも他の学校と一緒にイベントを楽しんできましたが、今回のイベントもとても楽しく成功のうちに終えることができました。 合同で行うイベントは、生徒のみなさんにとっても私たち講師にとっても、また一味違った楽しみを味あわせてくれます！
私は次回の我が校オリジナルのイベント、１２月１４日尼崎市塚口のレストランを借り切ってのクリスマスディナーを今からとても楽しみにしています！
