Autumn is coming　秋がそこまで来ています

It has been quite a hot summer. Recently the temperature has begun to drop, which is very nice. It looks like autumn is on the way! I love autumn. In Canada the Maple leaves change color. Japan also has its own species of Maples, or Momiji, whose leaves also change color. Last year, my school, Smith’s School of English Tsukaguchi held a Maple tree viewing event in Kyoto, which was great! I am looking forward to seeing the beautiful color change again this year!

＜秋がそこまで来ています＞　２００８年８月２５日（月）

今年の夏は本当に暑かったですね。　最近、気温が少し下がって過ごしやすくなりました。　秋がもうそこまでに来ているようです！　私は秋が大好きです。　秋には私の国カナダではメイプルリーフが色づきます。　日本の紅葉も負けず劣らず美しいものです。　昨年、我がスミス英会話塚口校ではイベントで紅葉の京都を訪れましたが、それはそれは素晴らしいものでした。　今年もまたあの綺麗な紅葉を楽しみにしています。
