A student of mine from Smith’s School of English Tsukaguchi in Amagasaki City recently prepared a great DVD which contains a video and photos he took at a joint barbecue event my school held with the Ohtsu, Okamoto, Horie and Fuse schools at Tsurumi Ryokuchi Park in Osaka, Japan on July 27th, 2008. This is the third video my student has prepared. Other DVDs that he has prepared include one for a Japanese Maple tree color change event my school had in 2007 and one for a joint cherry blossom viewing event my school held with the Otsu,Okamoto, Horie and Fuse schools in April 2008. In all three cases, my student volunteered to make the DVDs. He agreed to prepare a shorter, one-minute video of the barbecue event that we held, which we are going to put on YouTube. ＜生徒さんに感激！＞ ２００８年８月８日（金）
この間、尼崎市にある我がスミス英会話塚口校で生徒さんの一人が素晴らしいＤＶＤを作ってくれました！ それは先月２７日、私の学校と大津校・岡本校・堀江校そして布施校が大阪・鶴見緑地で合同開催したバーベキュー大会に参加したその生徒さんが、イベントの様子を撮ってくれたビデオと写真のＤＶＤです。 その生徒さんがＤＶＤを作ってくれたのは今回で３回目で、１回目は我が校の昨年秋のイベント“紅葉の京都”で、２回目は今年４月に今回と同じく５つの学校で合同開催した大阪城花見大会のときです。 この３回ともその生徒さんはＤＶＤ製作を自分から買って出てくれました。 その生徒さんはイベントの内容を、１分という短いビデオにすることを承知してくれました。 彼の作ってくれるその短縮バージョンはいずれユーチューブ（インターネット上で無料配信される動画）に登場しますのでどうぞみなさん楽しみにお待ち下さい！ その生徒さんは“松下”という名前です。 松下さんいつもありがとう！ 貴方は本当に親切です！ あなたの協力に感謝感激しています。

Derek, It is great that your student did all that for your school. It is quite a bit of work editing those videos. This really shows the dedication of your students. Well done. Great post! I got a copy of the DVD from Mr. Matsushita. He captured a lot of the fun that was had by all and it is great. I will show it to my students and may run it in the background at my school (Smith’s – Okamoto). It certainly shows how much fun it is to be a student with Smith’s School of English. Please thank Mr. Matsushita for me.
