It is time for another joint Smith’s School of English Nakamozu and Smith’s School of English Sakai Higashi BBQ event. The BBQ will be held in Oizumi Ryokuchi, the same location that all of our BBQ’s have been held over the last few years. Oizumi Ryokuchi(大泉緑地公園) . The Park is a large, forested park with 320,000 trees. Evergreen, deciduous, and flowering trees exist in near-natural surroundings along with many wild birds and insects. The park stretches over 95 hectares with may Sakura trees (桜). We encourage all of our students to come along and say hello! We will be joined by some friends from Tanpopo no kuni Child Care centre in Mikunigaoka, so there will be many people of all ages enjoying the day.
The BBQ will be a B.Y.O. event, meaning bring your own food and drinks. I am going to be cooking some kangaroo yakitori!! The BBQ’s, eskies with ice and a shade tent will be provided by Adam and I. Any SSE student who might like to join us please feel free. We would be more than happy to see you and your families, friends or even pets!
WHERE: Sakura Hiroba(桜広場)(This is located in the North Eastern part of the park. Oizumi Ryokuchi, Sakai City. The closest car parking is off Gadoukanaoka Rd.
WHEN: July 25th – start at 12:00.
The BBQ’s will be hot and ready to cook between 12:00pm and 3:00pm. This will again be a B.Y.O. event. We hope to see you there.
