Smith’s School of English Tsukaguchi Student’s Plan to Study in Canada for Work in Japan
I earlier wrote about a Smith’s School of English Tsukaguchi student called Honoka. You can read about her by clicking here. This is an update on Honoka. She decided to go to Toronto in Canada for up to 2 years and is now there! First, she’s studying English for 6 months to enter a technical college there. Then at the college, she plans to study foreign trade for 1 year in English. Finally, Honoka hopes to use her English skills to get a job in foreign trade in Japan. She wants to do this so that she can work with people from all over the world. What a great plan, Honoka! I wish you all the best with that!
Studying English Abroad
I encourage my students of English to study English abroad, do a homestay abroad or simply travel abroad. I know that it takes some courage to live and study abroad. However I think all English students should try visiting a country where English is used to truly understand another culture. That’s why it makes me so happy when Smith’s School of English Tsukaguchi students like Honoka make the decision to study English abroad. Enjoy your time in Canada, Honoka! (^.^)
