I have a great job teaching English in Japan at my English conversation school（英会話スクール）, Smith’s School of English Tsukaguchi（スミス英会話塚口校） , located in Tsukaguchi（塚口）, Amagasaki City(尼崎市）, Hyogo Prefecture（兵庫県）, Japan. Smith’s School of English Tsukaguchi is just one of the many Smith’s School of English franchise schools in Japan. These schools have teachers that in most cases both teach at and own their own school, just like me. Smith’s School of English seminars, held several times a year, offer us all the chance to meet up, share ideas and get the latest news on the English school business in Japan in addition to advice from Mark Smith, founder of Smith’s School of English. His news and advice are always very much appreciated and useful for our jobs teaching English in Japan. I always look forward to these seminars and enjoy them.
Last Sunday, I and my Japanese wife attended a Smith’s School of English seminar in Osaka, Japan. As always, it was great seeing other fellow Smith’s franchisees, many of whom went with their wives or husbands. Almost all attendees were mixed couples, with foreign husbands and Japanese wives. It’s great seeing so many mixed couples in the Smith’s School of English franchise school system. I really appreciate my Japanese wife’s help and support here in Japan. Her coming to the seminar with me was a fine example of her great support. I thank her very much. I also thank Mark Smith very much for holding yet another informative and enjoyable seminar.
