INVITATION – SSE Tsukaguchi and Kawanishi Event

You are here: Home / Blog / INVITATION – SSE Tsukaguchi and Kawanishi Event

Derek of Smith’s School of English, Tsukaguchi スミス英会話 塚口校 and I (John) of Smith’s School of English, Kawanishi スミス英会話 川西校 have arranged an event for 28 June 2009. We know that this is short notice, but we wanted to do it before the weather gets too hot.

We invite any Smith’s School that would like to join us to come along. Just let us know via comments and then meet us with students at Namaze JR Station 生瀬駅 at 10.00 am on June 28.

We plan to walk from Namaze Station 生瀬駅, near Takarazuka 宝塚 to Takedao 武田尾, along the beautiful Mukogawa River through a beautiful mountain landscape. I have done this walk several times, and it is one of the most beautiful in the area as you can see from the photos. The walk will start at 10.00 am at Namaze JR 生瀬駅 station and will take about 2 and a half hours including a stop for a picnic lunch. The walk is flat and easy, it follows a disused railway line. Return is from Takedao JR Station 武田尾駅. Both stations are on the Takarazuka – Shin Sanda JR line.

Takedao is a tiny village on the banks of the Mukogawa. It has small restaurants, so we can have a beer or some kakigori on a terrace overlooking the river. There is also an ancient onsen for anyone who wants to soak for a while.

Anyone who would like to join us should bring a hat, walking shoes or trainers, a flashlight (the route goes through several tunnels), bento for lunch and something to drink.

Hope to see you there.

John

    Hi John and Derek!!

Is it too late to join? Yuichi and I need to get out and see a bit of nature and this looks like the perfect opportunity to mix getting to know you a little better with enjoying nature!!! We will gather up some students if we can…and meet you there!! It sounds like great fun!!! Thanks for the invite and see you there!

Love to see you. Just be there.
Will have to cancel if it rains, unfortunately.
