Our family summer holiday
It is summer time! This summer, we decided to visit the beautiful Kochi Prefecture for our family summer holiday. This summer, we were very lucky with the weather, because it was sunny all the time. We went all the way to the south to Ashizuri. There we could enjoy the beautiful sea, beautiful mountains and a flourishing nature!
On the way
It is a long way south to Ashizuri, but we were so lucky because we could take the famous Anpanman train from Okayama to Kochi station. At the station, we met up with our group and took a bus to the south. Before we arrived at the hotel, we visited the aquarium center of the Osaka Aquarium. This is the place where they train the whale sharks before taking them to Osaka.
Enjoying the family holiday
There are many special national parks in the south of Kochi. So the next days, we spend our time hiking along the coast line, climbing mountains and studying about animals, plants and geography around Ashizuri. Therefore, my son found many topics he can for his self studying projects for his summer homework. When we we coming back on Sunday, we all felt that the time was short but a great experience!
