Something I enjoy doing in Japan, besides teaching English in Japan at Smith’s School of English Tsukaguchi (スミス英会話塚口校), is eating delicious food. What I really like about Japan is that I can enjoy both Japanese food and Western food. Japanese food offers very tasty dishes, however my favorite dishes still remain hamburgers and pizza, both of which I eat here in Japan! I enjoy eating hamburgers in Japan, as I’ve written about in my posts “Hamburger Night” and “Hamburger Night Is Back!“. I also enjoy eating pizza in Japan. There are home delivery pizza shops in Japan. I order from Domino’s Pizza or Pizza Hut (both shops that I am familiar with because we have them in my native country, Canada). If I order pizza, it’s usually on a Saturday or Sunday night. It’s easy for my family (no cooking required) tastes delicious and we can enjoy it in the comfort of our home in Tsukaguchi. I love Japan! (^.^)

Derek! Looks good! You are making me hungry. I want to thank you for the hospitality you showed a few weeks back when you fed me lunch. I hope I can return the favor soon. I guess your new little one is filling you and your wife’s days with special cheer. Enjoy every minute!

HA HA HA! Thanks Al. You’re welcome. Thank you again the present that you gave us for our baby (Tina) and thank you for coming to our home to see her. It was fun having you over. (^.^)

Personally I find the pizza hut pizza in Japan better than that in Canada. Unlike Canadian Pizza Hut, Japanese Pizza Hut uses squid, potato, corn, mayo and mentaiko (yum). Thanks for reminding of how good Japanese pizza is… now I want some!
