English Conversation Students Enjoy Wine and Cheese英会話スクールの生徒さん、ワインとチーズを楽しむ

Last Saturday night, a small group of students from my English conversation schools  (英会話 月謝) came together to enjoy a casual night of wine and cheese tasting. The students all had a good time chatting with other students while eating and drinking. It was a very enjoyable evening.

It was the first time that I have held such an event. I was not sure about the quantity of food and wine I would need. As it turns out there was plenty for everyone to enjoy. I held the event at the Smith’s School of English Nakamozu(スミス英会話 なかもず校), which is located only one minutes walk from the Station(南海線中百舌鳥駅 and 地下鉄御堂筋線なかもず駅) . Around 10 students participated.

I found a company that imports fine Austrian cheese to Japan. I bought four different kinds and another from the local Sakai Higashi Takashimaya which is located next to the station(南海堺東駅), five minutes walk from my other conversation school(スミス英会話 堺東校). After a little research I was able to pair the cheeses with  different types of wine. We drank wine from Australia, Spain, Argentina, France and Italy. Together there were three white wines ranging from dry to sweet, and three reds, full bodied to more mellow.

I had a really good time and look forward to the next event with my students.

Tim.
