You know in many countries, especially ones with a distinct Christian heritage, the snake has throughout history been rather unwelcome. In Asia, however, the snake is associated with good luck and prosperity and it is this much more benign view that I prefer to follow.
I think the reptiles are cute, innocent and for the most part completely harmless. They are useful at keeping populations of other less welcome members of the neighborhood under control and if it wasn’t for the snake, we would surely have a list of other concerns!
Well this year, precisely because it is the year of the snake, those concerns are going to disappear along with a list of other ones. We are well into February now and the season to promote in earnest is about to begin. It’s time to get out there and get some new students. English conversation is well underway at the Smith’s School of English in Kotoen スミス英会話 甲東園 and One-to-One students in particular are studying very hard to improve. The Kotoen school is 10 years old this year and that alone should help grow!
