These days I am working hard on local promotion for my English school in Tsukaguchi, Smith’s School of English Tsukaguchi (スミス英会話塚口). That is because I have set an ambitious (but achievable) personal goal for my English school this year and I intend on working hard towards achieving that goal. “Working hard” may sound hard but it’s actually a lot of fun for me. What do I mean by “fun for me”? I mean it’s fun working towards a clear goal and knowing how happy I will be if I achieve it. Having a goal keeps me focused. I know what I have to do. I just need to do it and that is exactly what I am doing. Should my goal be achieved, I will have the choice of taking it easy and keeping my school at the same level or setting a new, bigger goal. At Smith’s School of English, we have that choice and it’s great!
I love being out in Tsukaguchi, Amagasaki and nearby areas looking for more wonderful new students to teach English conversation to at Smith’s School of English Tsukaguchi, something which I enjoy very much. While out doing local promotion, I always text Smith’s founder Mark Smith on his iPhone using my cell phone and he always texts me back quickly with words of encouragement. This immediate support any time of the day really makes a difference, especially when I am out there alone and not with a paid helper. I never feel alone as I work towards achieving my goal. I have the support of Mark and other Smith’s franchise school owners should I need it. Thank you Mark and Smith’s School of English for your great support!
