What is it that every little boy needs in winter, to keep him warm, to keep him comfortable, happy and occupied? What is it that every little boy needs to make the long cold days of winter enjoyable and filled with laughter?
It’s an iPhone!!!! But this little boy still doesn’t have an iPhone and although I beg and plead to the powers that be (my wife) everyday. It still doesn’t look like I will be getting an iPhone for at least 4 more months.
Oh, Yes, I have pulled out all the stops recently. I have hinted, I have asked, I have flat out begged, but still my wife remains a solid rock of financial good judgment. She even emailed me to tell me that she had received her winter bonus, and I replied “Congratulations my little “iPhone”, and she responded….with nothing. She totally ignored me. I even went as far as going to the Softbank website and showing her the advertisement slogan.. “Look at what the web site advertisement says. It says “An iPhone for everyone”. Again, my wife was unmoved. I even printed out the information from the website (2 pages), and conveniently slipped them into her makeup bag inside her purse so she could easily find the pages while she was at work. Hey! I was doing her a favor, but again, she was unmoved. I feel as if I’ve exhausted all my efforts thus far.
The website slogan says… “An iPhone for Everyone”, but it really means., “An iPhone for everyone, except me.”
