What a nice schedule! What freedom!

You are here: Home / Blog / What a nice schedule! What freedom!

It has been a great day today so far. First I got up a bit before 6:00am, had breakfast and went out and handed out flyers at a train station from about 7:10am to 9:00am. As always I greeted people with “good morning”, ” hello” or “how are you”. Some people kindly replied and that was really nice. One particularly happy moment was when a group of little girls on their way to school were waiting at a railway crossing and looking at me. I think one of them called “hello”. I looked at them, smiled and waved at them. They smiled brightly, waved back and continued on their way to school looking very happy! Lovely! After handing out flyers I went back home, which is just a couple minutes from my school in Tsukaguchi, Amagasaki City. I slept a bit, got up then rode my bicycle to a “Carrefour”(shopping mall)which is about a 15 minute bike ride from home. It’s good exercise and I enjoy biking. I had lunch at Starbucks Coffee there, read the newspaper and relaxed. Then I rode my bike straight to my school and taught a lesson from 1:00pm. Today I have no lessons scheduled between 2:00pm and 4:00pm, and 5:00pm and 7:00pm. That means free time to do anything I want! I therefore came back home after 2:00pm and am now writing this on the soapbox! Between 5:00pm and 7:00pm, I will go training at TIPNESS, a fitness club just a stone’s throw away from my school. I’ll teach 7:00pm and 8:00pm lessons and unless another student calls to book a lesson at 9:00pm, I will be done work today at 8:45pm. Now that’s a great day, with promotion for my school, a nice lunch, relaxation, exercise and a light schedule. I love the freedom my schedule gives me at Smith’s!
