Spring is in the air and it has been a fantastic month at my English school, スミス英会話天神橋六丁目校. 4 new students have joined in just the last 2 weeks!
One of the things I love about my job is that I can help people achieve their goals. One new student is a mechanical engineer. He has just started work at a Japanese subsidiary of a Swiss company. He has high hopes for his career with this international firm and needs English to make them come true.
Another new student works for an importing company. Right now most of their business is from China, but she foresees the market changing over the next few years, with her company expanding their ties to manufacturers in India and other countries in Southeast Asia. She’s starting to study English now so she will be prepared for these changes in the years to come.
The last 2 new students are a mother and daughter. They came for a kids trial lesson and had so much fun that the mother decided to start studying English as well!
My school has been open for just seven months now but I can confidently say that opening my own 英会話 was really the right decision. It just keeps getting better and better!
