Weather in Japan

You are here: Home / Blog / Weather in Japan

I find it amazing how the weather in Japan can vary greatly and change quickly within the same day. Today when I arrived at my English conversation school in Tsukaguchi (Amagasaki, Hyogo Prefecture), it was cloudy. While teaching English conversation in my first English conversation lesson of the day at Smith’s School of English Tsukaguchi (スミス英会話 塚口校), it began to rain. It continued to rain during my second lesson, pouring down at one point with thunder and lightning. One sudden, loud sound of lightning made me jump in my chair! (^.^) However by the end of the lesson, the weather had changed to being partly-cloudy and the sun was out! Incredible! This kind of big, quick variation in weather within the same day is not like usual weather in my home country Canada. It’s quite interesting!

If you plan on doing outdoor activities in Japan on any given day but the weather is lousy, don’t give up! The weather could change in a flash and you could be out there having a great time in no time! (^.^)
