A Shortcut Through Coms Garden

Beautiful Walk Through Coms Garden

On the way to my school today I decided to walk through Coms Garden again as I often do. It is a short cut from JR Kyobashi station. The area is nice to walk through because of the way that it is decorated. I have always liked plants, flowers and animals and enjoy taking pictures of them.

walk through Coms gardenFrequently I try to get close to some of the wild cats that call the Garden home, but they are often afraid and run away. Today I was able to get close to this beautiful orange one. He did not seem to be very afraid of me. Maybe because it was hot and he was enjoying the sunny day or perhaps he knew that I was not going to harm him. Cats are one of my favorite animals to have for a pet.

Reading in Coms Garden

walk through Coms gardenI also remembered my first time going to Coms Garden. I could not read this sign. But I have been taking Japanese lessons once a week and even though I have a busy schedule, I have improved. Now I can read hiragana, most katakana and some kanji. I am proud of having been able to reach some of my goals and will continue to study and improve.

Since I am a published writer, it would be a great achievement for me to publish a book in Japanese. Of course I will have to improve my knowledge and understanding of Kanji. So I will continue to study hard in the hopes that maybe one day I can also make that dream come true as well. It is fun to learn and we are never too young or too old to do the things that we have always wanted to do.
