After spending a bit of time and money on the new location, I wanted to make a bit of a splash on the promotional front. I did this by commissioning a new poster, and found two ways to display it.
I’m very pleased with the poster design (if you want to know more about where it came from, please get in touch!) and it’s basic message that now is an especially good time to invest in English studies. The size of the poster is B1 (about 70cm x 100cm), so hopefully it will make quite an impact.
The first place I found to display it was in front of the school itself, after putting it in a nice frame and placing it on an easel. The good thing with the easel is that it is portable, so we can take it along to wherever we hand out flyers.
The second place the poster is being displayed is at a couple of JR stations. If your school is located near a JR line in the Kansai area, I highly recommend checking out this website. If you click on the link 近畿エリア駅ランク, you can find out your station’s “rank” 長岡京 is ranked “D”, and 山崎 an “E”, so a week of displaying this poster at Nagaokakyo costs about 11,000 yen. The good thing is you don’t need to commit to a long period, unlike other hoardings, so it’s possible to run a focused, short-term campaign with a limited budget.
Hopefully the poster will trigger some interest, and I look forward to updating this blog with its progress.
nice poster…would be interested in getting a few myself for Hirakata…always nice to have something fresh put up.
Really nice Poster. It is very good to put a face on such posters. Makes it much more human and appealing. Great work!
Yes Tim it is a nice poster. I feel sure that it will draw attention to your school and boost your student numbers.
