It’s getting warmer here in Tsukaguchi (塚口), Amagasaki (尼崎市), the location of my English conversation school (英会話スクール), Smith’s School of English Tsukaguchi (スミス英会話 塚口校). I still have to check the temperature in the morning to decide what to wear. On cool days I wear pants with a Smith’s jacket and Smith’s t-shirt underneath, while on warm days I wear shorts with a Smith’s t-shirt. I often wear my Smith’s cap as well.
Today I went to the city office to apply for a new Certificate of Alien Registration, which all foreigners must obtain and carry with them at all times. I wore my Smith’s t-shirt. I needed 2 passport-sized photos, so I went to a photo booth located on a street near my school. Before I entered the photo booth, a man on a bicycle said good morning to me (in English or Japanese, I can’t remember which). Unfortunately, I couldn’t recognize him, but I said good morning back. He obviously knew me, perhaps from me handing out flyers. I am happy to be known by people in Tsukaguchi, even if I don’t always know them or remember them! (^.^) My Smith’s t-shirt or jacket probably help a lot therefore I consider them important for my work. I guess that you could call them my second skin!
Today is the last day of May. I was a pretty good month with 4 new students joining Smith’s School of English Tsukaguchi. I am very happy about that. I hope to make June an even better month, a super month! That means putting extra effort into promotion, both with flyers and on the Internet. I really enjoy my job teaching English in Japan and I want to have as many students as possible! (^.^)
Coming soon is a better-looking main page for my school with a YouTube video that you’ll be able to watch on the page!
Have a great month of June everbody! I hope that you all have a super one! (^.^)
