Student’s Individual Needs

You are here: Home / Blog / Student’s Individual Needs

To hear from my students that they had a satisfying English conversation lesson makes me very happy. It’s one of the best compliments I can get as a communicative confidence coach. Having competent and composed English conversations with students is a fulfilling part of my job. I’m proud of students’ personal growth and I’m happy to assist with their progress.

Assisting my students means focusing on everyone’s individual language needs.
For that reason SSE group courses are limited to the maximum of three students. Each student has enough time to practice English conversation and I as a coach have enough time to address each student’s specific requirements. Man-to-man courses allows us to dedicate the whole lesson time to work on student’s needs.

Last week I received a ‘Thank you’ note from my student Tomoko who was satisfied with man-to-man lessons. Tomoko belongs to a public reading club, so we were practicing English reading techniques and pronunciation. This might sound like a hard and difficult subject, but with the right approach students can have engaging English lessons on any subjects. Another time, we discussed Tomoko’s desire to travel to Hawaii and do snorkeling. I love snorkeling so this lesson was also particularly enjoyable for me. We talked about sightseeing, water activities and hotel accommodation. It was an interesting lesson.

Thank you Tomoko, for giving me such a nice note and thank you for improving your English skills at SSE Katsura.

Tom, SSE Katsura
