Student Starts a Restaurant

You are here: Home / Blog / Student Starts a Restaurant

St foods barOne of my previous students recently started up a restaurant near the JR ROKKO MICHI Station. It’s a very new and clean place with a nice bright atmosphere. I have taken some students there a few times and we always have a good time. If you are ever out and about in the Kobe area, I recommend that you drop in for a while and enjoy some food and drinks there. Take a look at their website for more information.

This particular student is quite special for me as she was my very first man-to-man (private) student. She is beautiful and always very kind. She had a lot of English education as she was an English major in her university days and she really likes to travel. So she requested that we concentrate on travel English and the situations related to that. The Smith’s curriculum includes a large section especially dealing with travel so this was quite easy to do. However, as we got further into the lessons, she began to want to do more related to general English conversation so I adjusted the lesson a little to cover some of the grammar points that Japanese students have the most trouble with.

So again, if you are ever out in this neck of the woods drop by her place and meet some of the very nice university students she has hired to work in her restaurant. They are from all over Japan and even from China. You are bound to have a pleasant time and enjoy some good conversation to go along with the good food and drinks that they purvey.
