Smith’s Students Emailing Each Other in English

You are here: Home / Blog / Smith’s Students Emailing Each Other in English

I’m having a great time teaching English in Japan. I am always happy when my students mention using English outside of classtime at my English conversation school (英会話スクール), Smith’s School of English Tsukaguchi (スミス英会話塚口校), located  in Tsukaguchi (塚口), Amagasaki City (尼崎市), Hyogo Prefecture (兵庫県), Japan . Today a student of mine really surprised me and made me very happy when she told me that another student and her sometimes exchange emails in English! Wow! That’s fantastic! I thank those students for their effort and encourage all of my students to do the same! It’s a great idea!  Keep up the great work students! (^.^)

    Derek,

I have seen this with my English students as well. At my English school, I have 3 or 4 students who have networked with other students and communicate regularly with each other in English via email. It all starts with 1 student mentioning a great website they use… other students become interested and emails are exchanged! It’s a strong sign of keenness amongst our students that they enjoy helping each other learn English, and it makes me happy to be their English coach.
