Well we are preparing for the barbeque at my house next Sunday. It will be the last big bash for the Summer which officially already ended but not for me — not until we have this barbeque. The garden is almost ready, the grills are assembled, the drinks (lots of drinks) have been bought along with plates, chopsticks, cups and rice. HOTATE GAI (scallops on their shells) have been ordered and one more trip will be made to buy the meat, shrimp and other seafood and vegetables later this week. We have a few games planned that can be played by 4 to 6 persons at a time and I am readying the KARAOKE system. Some of us will surely ham it up and try to belt out a few numbers. I hope the neighbors do not mind! We will number about 30 this time and about 10 are excellent or very good English Speakers so there will be plenty of chances to use the English that the students have worked so hard to master.
The garden is coming along. You can see by looking at the pictures. So the fun will start about 2pm on Sunday Sept. 27th. We are not sure how long the party will last but it will certainly be a lot of fun!

That sounds great Al. I am looking forward to the event! As you know, I’ll be getting some desserts for everybody and coming with my wife, some students of mine and a student’s friend. I think this is going to be a lot of fun!
See you on the 27th! (^.^)/
