Smith’s School of English; Dealing with Change

You are here: Home / Blog / Smith’s School of English; Dealing with Change

I moved my Smith’s School of English http://smithweb.co.jp a year and a half ago to a very bustling part of Sagamihara city. Filled with restaurants, bars, Karaoke, bowling alley, you name it. Noisy place to be honest. One minute from the train station-  busses, taxis, ambulances, and cars going by all day into late night. The noise took some getting used to. But all has gone silent as of about 4 weeks ago. And I miss the noise.

Smith’s Defense

All Smith’s schools upped their game in defense of this pandemic by installing top quality air purifiers, washing of hands, providing alcohol cleansers, wiping down tables and doorknobs, setting the rooms for ample social distancing, and wearing/providing protective masks. We follow the  guidelines of the World Health Organization to the top. We have done what we can to continue to provide a safe environment, and now Golden Week is upon us.

Sagamihara Students

I believe I am speaking for all Smith’s schools when I say we will be back soon. With respect to our students, I am very confident that they will return when the time is right for them too. Until then, please do the right thing and be safe, which is most important. We value your safety as well as our own, and look forward to better times ahead.  Take care.
