The Maple leaf color change in Japan is beautiful and going to see the autumn colors here is something the Japanese love doing. So do I! (^.^) This year I held a Maple leaf color change viewing event for my English conversation school in Tsukaguchi, Amagasaki, Hyogo Prefecture , Smith’s School of English Tsukaguchi (スミス英会話 塚口校) and my English conversation school in Kawanishi, Hyogo Prefecture, Smith’s School of English Kawanishi (スミス英会話 川西校) . Eleven people attended. We went Maple leaf viewing in Arashiyama, Kyoto, a place famous for it’s beautiful autumn colors (嵐山で紅葉がり). We had a nice lunch at a restaurant and went to Tenryū-ji (天竜寺), a temple with lots of beautiful Maples on its’ grounds. Some of us bought some roasted chestnuts and ate them still hot! Souvenir gifts were bought. I got my Amagasaki and Kawanishi English conversation school students some famous cinnamon cookies. 🙂 We had great time!
This was my third Smith’s Maple leaf viewing event. The first one was also held in Arashiyama, Kyoto in 2007. You can read about it by clicking here. The second one was held in Kyoto as well but at a different place. You can read about that one by clicking here. Enjoy! (^.^)/
