Every Saturday at my school ( スミス英会話岡本校 ) is fun.
Today is a little special, I have a student taking a practice TOEIC test in the morning. Usually study begins at 1:00 p.m. and finishes just before 10:00 p.m.
Sometimes will have about 20 students study with me on Saturdays so it can require a lot of washing of cups and glasses. My students and I drink a lot of coffee and tea together. So you see, I am the chief instructor and dishwasher. Do you think I should put that on my business cards?
One Saturday evening in the spring I used my iPhone to take a panorama photo of the classroom. I was still learning how to use this feature so the picture isn’t fantastic but you can still get a feeling for how “at home” we are at the Okamoto School. My two students, Reiko and Miho on the left are smiling for the camera while Mai, my helper on Saturday nights, is coaching Tomoko in the other class area about the difference between “be” verbs and “general verbs”. Mai is a great success story. She is Japanese and perfectly bilingual.
Saturdays at the Okamoto School are always FUN SATURDAYS!
