Quick Consultation with Mark Smith

As I’ve mentioned in past postings I’m interested in continuing to add schools to my small portfolio and this morning I had the chance to meet with Mark Smith and ask for advice over a couple of cappuccinos at Garb Dressing, a local café in Kyobashi which features great desserts!

I had been looking forward to this meeting for several weeks and came prepared with a list of questions I wanted to discuss with Mark.

He called me to confirm this morning and then we met at 11:00am at the head office.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.

I have always appreciated the personalized guidance Mark Smith provides each individual franchisee while at the same time keeping the large ship on course.

It’s nice to know that the founder of Smith’s School of English is genuinely concerned about the success of each individual franchisee and as franchisees we are always welcome to call him up and ask for a private meeting.

We had an effective meeting; he provided guidance on a number of questions I had and we are working together towards meeting my goals.

In working with Mark Smith you really feel you have a partner.

We sat down side by side this morning and worked on the challenge as partners and I was happy with the outcome of the meeting. It was too much to resolve in one sitting so we decided to meet again.

Check back here for an update in the future.
