I have fun teaching English in Japan to my wonderful students at Smith’s School of English Tsukaguchi (スミス英会話塚口校), located in Tsukaguchi(塚口), Amagasaki City(尼崎市), Hyogo Prefecture(兵庫県). Doing extracurricular activities with them is also fun and gives students the opportunity to practice their English outside the classroom. Such extracurricular activities include Smith’s School of English events and other things that my students invite me to do with them. One of my students invites my wife and I several times a year to see movies in English with him at a movie theater. He recently invited us to go and see “AVATAR”, the latest movie by “Titanic” director James Cameron. Adrian from Smith’s School of English Hirakata earlier wrote a post on this movie, which you can check out by clicking here. Unfortunately my wife couldn’t go that time but I could and happily accepted his kind invitation. We went to see the movie on January 16. Some movie theaters were showing it in 3D but the movie theater that we went to was showing it in 2D. The movie was very good. We each had a large bucket of popcorn and happily munched on our popcorn while enjoying the movie. (^.^) We had a great time! Now I’d like to see it in 3D! I’ve decided to make it a Smith’s School of English Tsukaguchi movie and dinner event in February, bringing my wife along! First we’ll watch “AVATAR” in 3D and in English, then have dinner afterwards and talk about the movie in English. That should be a lot of fun! I’m looking forward to that! (^.^)
