Just a short while ago I had an article about Grand Front Osaka and its imminent state of completion. That was the July 12 entry. One thing for sure is that there will be more and more people looking to spend less and less money in more and more places, and the variety of things to buy will probably be more noticeable to well-heeled women than by any man, regardless of wealth and position. So while the women shop, the men have more and more opportunity to get caught up on reading English books at one of the many wonderful cafes in the area. That’s what I do, if the girls are busy. Yodobashi Camera is my favorite still, but there are some times when it is absolutely not advisable to go there, especially on Friday afternoons and any long weekends.
I give the students at my Smith’s School of English ( スミス英会話 甲東園校 ) conversation school in Kotoen ( 甲東園 ) lots of reading homework to practise with their conversation ( 英会話 ).
The shopping girls can take all the time they want. I like to hang out here and do Wi-Fi. I appreciate lots of time to enjoy coffee and read up on important matters or hey, why not do a soapbox posting?!
For those of you who hang out at OSC or at least pass through it once in a while, I doubt it would take much for you to figure out where this picture was taken. The actual seating arrangement has changed a bit since, but it’s just as good as before. The main draw-back with this place is that all of the stunning department store cosmetic models hang out here, too. That makes getting anything done rather challenging!
