On April 6th, 2008 we had our 2008 Cherry Blossom Viewing Party at Osaka Castle Park.
This event was organized by 5 schools and it was a huge success! I think we had about 100 people attend this event.
The weather could not have been more perfect!
Good food, interesting chats, fun games and overall a very pleasant atmosphere!
Several of my students mentioned having especially enjoyed meeting students from other Smith’s School of English locations throughout Kansai.
The five schools that worked together to make this event the success it was are;

I also know that some new friendships were formed between students from different schools and one of my students actually formed a business relationship with a student from another school! Very cool stuff!
These kinds of events are a very fun way for us to get a chance to spend some relaxing time with our students outside of the classroom and the students have a chance to enjoy using the English they’ve learned in speaking with other foreigners and students.
