Opportunity Comes Once in Your Life
Today I had a break between lessons so I went to the local ダイコクhere in Kyobashi. On the way there I heard a plane flying overhead as usual. I looked up and had the opportunity to do something I like, which is; take a photo of the sky. I was lucky because I could make the picture more interesting with the plane as part of it.
I was in ダイコクfor about five minutes. When I came out the sky had changed. This made me start thinking about opportunities. We often think that we will always have an opportunity to do something. It could be anything like taking a trip, speaking to someone we like or even studying a new language.
Life is like these photos. If we don’t take the opportunity, we could be missing something great. Our regular activities will always be there, but that special thing might not because we didn’t do anything.
In Canada, I had an opportunity to move to Japan and become an English coach. It was the best decision of my life. I am now living in a beautiful country with amazing people. The food is delicious and there is so much history that I am always visiting new places. I am able to enjoy all of this because I did not miss the opportunity.
If there is something that you have always wanted to do, now would be a great time to do it.
