Japanese people are so honest. Last month on the way to the Sakai Fish Festival while riding my bicycle I lost my wallet.
When I met my friend and told her, she suggested that we go immediately to the Sakai Police Station.
However I thought I would never see my wallet again. In another country it would be rare for my wallet to be handed into to the police. So we went to the festival.
After buying some fish at the auction, eating local seafood and watching the fireworks I went to Sakai Police Station.
To my surprise, my wallet had been handed into the police. The police rang the kind person. Following Japanese law I went to Ningen Kosatan (人間交差点) where Sacchi (さっちー) was working
and gave him a reward. Sacchi (さっちー) is a very honest man.
I think this would only happen in Japan.
