Mark Smith Sailing Japan with friends

You are here: Home / Blog / Mark Smith Sailing Japan with friends

Last weekend I had an appointment to go sailing with my friend Tom. We met at Kobe Marina and got onto the yacht. We prepared the yacht to sail and were ready to go at about 2:00pm. We motored out into Osaka bay and then put up the sails, tightened the ropes and had a great time sailing for about 2 hours. The wind was blowing very well, our flag was streaming in the breeze and the yacht was heeling over perfectly. After sailing we arrived back at the Marina at 4:20pm and packed up the yacht. Tom got into his car and drove home. I washed the boat, took a quick shower and changed into my working clothes. I enjoyed the rest of the day at Smith’s school of English Kyobashi school.

If you are a teacher or student at Smith’s School of English and would like to join Mark Smith sailing then come on! I am always happy to have friends and students on the boat.

We sail out of Nishinomiya. To me sailing is a great way to relax, exercise and enjoy nature. I really love teaching English and working with all of our wonderful students and teachers however I also love to get out on the water or up into the mountains. Being in nature always freshens me up. “healthy body, healthy mind” If you would like to join me please email me at [email protected]

Thank you.

Mark Smith.
