Hello everyone! This is my very first posting of the year 2011 and it’s a little late, I think. From now on I’m going to do better.
A few days ago I was walking around Namba and came across this outstanding opportunity for a chuckle! I’m not sure whether this building is a shanty or whether it is indeed joyful but the combination of the two words does make for a special kind of poetry, doesn’t it.
Which brings me to the main point: English is still rather unusual in Japan and its importance is increasing day by day. Gone is the uncertainty associated with our collapsed competitors. More and more people, both young and old are realizing that English is a requirement for future success in many fields. Now is the time to for us to get moving, myself included. I have made a commitment to myself and to my school to be doing more. Students are out there looking for a school and some of the obvious choices have disappeared or declined. Now is an outstanding opportunity for all we franchisees at the Smith’s School of English to get to work and make it happen. ( スミス英会話 )
Look promotion is the key to `GET`. Soapbox postings, hagaki koukan or postcard exchange, sign boards and posters, word of mouth, letterboxes, newspaper ads and above all, flyers need to be done to get lots of new students into your school. I am pleased to say that I have already been out doing flyers twice this month and have two fresh sign-ups already. In February I’m going to work hard.
