The most wonderful thing happened this week doing flyers for my Smith’s School in Kotoen, Nishinomiya ( スミス英会話 甲東園校 ) and I’d like to share it with you.
I have reliable flyer teams running at two adjacent stations simultaneously, Kotoen where my school is located and Nigawa, the next major station north on the border of Nishinomiya and Takarazuka cities.
A man was given a flyer at around 7am at Nigawa as he was boarding the train. He got off at Kotoen and was given another flyer possibly from myself so he got interested. He went to his office in Kotoen, looked us up on the smithweb, memorized the location of my school from the map, walked over at 9:30 to say hello. We chatted in my primary lesson room for about 20 minutes and decided to begin filling out an application to start right away as a Normal student. I explained that we would just need to telephone the ladies at 1:00 to discuss school rules, record his level and book a first lesson time. He was very surprised to learn that I had students coming at 10:30am and that we would need to wrap up our first meeting asap.
He phoned at 1:07, booked a trial for 2:30, paid full join on the spot.
I ask you ….. would this have happened if my people and I had not been doing flyers at either of my stations that morning??? Now is the time to get going!

Couldn’t agree more Martin. In my years here at Smith’s School of English I see it all the time. We reap what we sow.
Well done Martin. You are right. Now is the time to be out there. I got going again with flyers today and will be out there a lot adding to the Smith’s synergy. I hope that you get heaps of new students! Keep up the great work!
