Yes indeed this is my wife Yoko and I quite some years ago in Kyoto. In the eight or nine years that have passed since, I really don’t think my wife has changed all that much. She still looks the same. I can’t quite say the same for myself, but my wife is adamant that I also have not changed one bit in all the years I have known her even though I have.
One of the most wonderful things to have besides each other is the ability to make our own choices. Since my wife stopped working she has had the opportunity to play at being a homemaker, something she has longed for for many years. In fact she likes it so much that she sends me off to work with my very own bento once or twice a week, something which seemed completely unimaginable to me just three years ago. But the biggest way that Yoko helps me with respect to my Smith’s of English Franchise in Kotoen is that she likes to do flyers. She is probably the best flyer person I have ever seen and I really enjoy recruiting her for this purpose. In addition, she doesn’t even require to be paid!! Now every small business owner in the history of mankind has discovered the value of recruiting family members to do some of the light lifting, but Yoko is so good at the flyers that I hesitate to replace her. Her presence is at once imposing yet her atmosphere is very friendly, cheerful and welcoming. Even people who had no plan to accept a flyer and say hello to anyone today did so with her.
Now is the time to get out there and do your local promotion. If you’re lucky enough to employ a family member to do it, hats off to you! Good luck! Extra effort might be required in some areas due to the present unfortunate circumstances in northern Japan.
