On my day off I usually go with my wife to ride horses in the country. Inagawacho is just a short drive from Kobe and my house. But it’s like another world. Nature is alive and well there. Fields of rice are nearing harvest time and the sound of the brook running along the road is so soothing to the soul. Morning Glories blooming along the road are so full of color and the horses at the horseback riding club are really beautiful animals.
If you are interested in getting some fresh air and fun recreation, try riding horses. Check out Inagawa Riding Club’s website. By the way, on top of being excellent riding teachers, Miki and Hayashi sensei are quite handsome guys too.
Oh, here are a few horseback riding words:
鞍 Saddle
あぶみ Stirrup
Enjoy the changing of the seasons!
