Japanese Style (?)

You are here: Home / Blog / Japanese Style (?)

Decorations Japanese style

Chiaki was searching on the internet to find ways to add to our place to make it look a little less barren. (personally, I rather like the barren side of things, hence my love of climbing…. stark nature, I guess).

So on one of the forums at Bennesse, someone wrote about using wire as a way to hang pictures and also decorate at the same time. I have included it here in a picture. These are our results. I think it looks nice and simple, a bit modern, and a bit fun.

I might even use it at my Smith School in Ikoma to put up pictures that are easy to change. This will help me work on themes. Maybe even seasonal decorations.

You can easily see the one wire stretched across the top and multiple wires hanging down from it. these have clips on the ends to make changing pictures easy.

    Hi Les,

Great idea- simple and clean and fun to change it up. Maybe I’ll send you a picture to put up in your school in Ikoma! Also seems like a great place to put rotating English teaching materials. I’m gonna try this in my school as well.

Thanks Edward. It really is simple and would be great for rotating English materials. Tell me how it goes if you do it.
