Recently I dug up some of my older photos of a trip to Tatton Park, Cheshire, England. It is a Japanese style garden commissioned by Lord Egerton for his own mansion. It includes a replica tea house as well as a host of other traditional Japanese plants. It was a trip organised through the Japan Society North West and I was truly grateful to be able to sample some of Japans finer aesthetic beauties. Needless to say I haven’t had a chance to visit one of Japan’s own famous gardens.
How do the pictures compare to a real Japanese garden?
