Japan is certainly hot in the summer. I also heard that el nino is visiting this year again (have not checked it myself). That could explain the early ending of the rainy season here. It is very hot these days. I have been here a long time so I am not suffering as much as I would be if I just came from Canada, but it is still nice to escape the heat.
Thankfully, Japan has great ways to beat the heat! I went swimming with my family at a waterpark on the weekend. It was a nice treat. Once I put on the rash guard, I just keep feeling cool despite the sun’s intense rays. the cement was hot enough to be painful, (pretty rare in Canada) but my sandals helped with that. Life in Japan is cool, even when things heat up!

Amen to that! What water park is that? I love Hirakata Park in summer. For sure Japan has lots of great ways to cool off.
