It is fun to speak English..or Japanese and to teach in Japan!

You are here: Home / Blog / It is fun to speak English..or Japanese and to teach in Japan!

Language is an important tool. Yes, it is just a tool but as you know having the right tool makes all the difference!

You can spend hours trying do something but if you have the right tool, you can finish in minutes. Being able to speak the language when you go travel somewhere or join a business meeting makes all the difference.

It is really good to have a chance to help people to acquire and polish their language skills.  We teachers all know how great it is when you see that familiar look in a student’s eyes when he/she understands and becomes able to use a word or expression well.  It is a process of discovery and we are lucky to be able to be the ones to help so many people to make that journey.

It is especially great to be able to do this in Japan.  Japan is a great country to live and work.  There are a wealth of places to see and things to do.  We really have a lot of fun with our students and each time it gives them a chance to use what they have learned.

Recently I had a chance to take a cruise on the waterways of Osaka on the Aqua Liner. It is an interesting way to see Osaka.  I was a little surprised when the roof was lowered about 30 cm to allow the boat to pass under some low bridges. On a hot August day we appreciated the AC onboard too!

We had an interesting view of Osaka Castle and on that particular day there was a crowd of young girls waiting to see the concert of Kis My Ft2 at Osaka Jo Hall.
