Al Bartle of the Smith’s School of English in Okamoto here. I was just checking out the favorites on Smith’s School’s YouTube Channel ‘ssejapan’ and I noticed that the video of Justin Bieber that I favorited a few months ago is now at almost 396 million views. Wow! That is amazing!
Does anyone know if there is a more popular video on YouTube? Please let me know if you find one.
When I watched this I again got the idea that students can work on their listening skills by listening to this kind of music video and stopping it to write down the words little by little. Then when they finish that they can listen to the song and sing along. It is a fun way to study English and every minute they spend will surely pay off with their improved ability to speak, read and write English.
Check out Justin’s video and while you are at it why not check out the TOEIC Part 7 type video we made for students to improve their listening skills.
These lessons are now accessible from the Smith’s School’s main page under the title
無料TOEICレッスン
However, I am not sure how long these videos will continue to be free. So make use of them while you can. And to other SMITH’S teachers: introduce these videos to your students who are planning to take the TOEIC. They can pick the answers to the questions and then scroll down the page below the video player and see the questions and correct answers.
Enjoy!
Justin Bieber broke Lady Gaga’s record for Bad Romance. So it might take a while before someone beats him.
