Valentine’s Day is coming up pretty soon and the department stores and confectioners are going to be doing great business selling chocolate.
I just love the Japanese custom of women giving men chocolate! Now some men may not want to admit it, but I am German and not at all shy to admit that I absolutely love chocolate.
Another favorite thing of mine is wine and I intend to do something very special at my Smith’s School in Kotoen ( スミス英会話 甲東園校 ) where I conduct a very popular Wine Tasting Course. Many of the students are sure to give me mountains of chocolate and I will repay the delicious favors with an extra special wine tasting segment: Ice wine tasting paired with chocolate. For you ice wine aficionados out there, sweet milk chocolate, dried fruit and raisins, fruit pie and ice cream have long been considered top pairing food for the best Canadian and German Eis Weins!
