This year’s ice cream week
The hot days continue this year. So I decided to offer all students coming for an English lesson a cup of ice cream for this years ice cream week. This year it was small ice cream cups from Glico, because there were three flavors: vanilla, macha and cookie & cream. Macha was the most popular of the three.

Every student could choose the flavor they liked. It definitely was a good idea, as everybody could cool down before we started with the English lesson. So we were able to start each lesson with a happy student. I also was happy, because this summer everybody looks so hot when they come in from outside.
the tradition of ice cream week
Here at Fuse English school, we have the tradition of the ice cream week for seven years now. Read this article of 2015 if you like. All students coming for their English lesson in the hot Japanese summer can use some time to cool down with an ice cream. But this year the summer is especially hot – so it was worth offering the ice cream more than ever!
