Since there are many students who read this blog, I have included here one useful way to improve your English conversational ability. I have also posted this in the Japanese soapbox for students who want to read about it in Japanese.

There are many ways to improve your English ability. One good way is by repeating and answering questions while watching videos. I have prepared two videos. One of them, (part 1= 74 questions 8 minutes and 20 seconds), can be accessed by clicking the link below and you can find the other one, (part 2= 50 questions 9 minutes and 27 seconds), in the Eigomanokamoto channel which is on the right side of (part 1) when you open the link. First, practice (part 1). When you can repeat and answer all of the questions correctly, next please try out (part 2) as well.
I wrote down all of the questions and answers from Part 1 below but please try to do them without looking first. When you can’t catch the questions or cannot understand the meaning of the questions, check the text below for the question you are having trouble with. This is really good practice for everybody as asking questions and answering them is a big part of conversation.
To students: Work hard! And remember TANSTAAFL! ( There Ain’t No Such Thing As A Free Lunch!) It just means that nothing in life is really free or easy. You have to work hard for everything. By the way “ain’t” is not really a word unless you count it as a kind of slang. In that case it can be replaced by “isn’t”. Don’t worry about the double negative. It is just used here for emphasis.
