I really enjoy Indian food. I think it is wonderful. And my hometown in Canada – Edmonton – is terrible for Indian food. Or at least it was before I came here. I have found great Indian food abroad, in places like Zimbabwe and Malaysia.
But I have recently found great Indian food right here in my own small town of Ikoma, Japan. It is very reasonable, and quick, and I sometimes stop in at this little hole in the wall restaurant. But calling it a hole in the wall should not belittle this establishment. They are offering up excellent cuisine at very reasonable prices. It is called Red Spice, and it is only a two minute walk from the station. I typically have to wait only about five or ten minutes and the lunch is served up piping hot and fresh every time. This is one of the joys in my daily life here in Japan, and it is great to be able to go there for lunch. I could never do that when I worked in my other jobs when I was not the boss.
