At the last Smith’s seminar, I met John, the new owner of Smith’s School of English Kawanishi School. I suggested that we help each other out with flyers. He agreed to do that and so far we’ve done three flyer runs together, two in Kawanishi for his school and one in Tsukaguchi for my school, Smith’s School of English Tsukaguchi School. Yesterday we handed out flyers in Kawanishi City. It was a rainy day, however we could still do flyers because the place we stood at was covered. Handing out flyers alone is not easy, especially on rainy and windy days like yesterday. Being two out there makes a huge difference. Two motivated Smith’s franchisees wearing the same Smith’s jackets makes much more of an impact than just one. We can also encourage ourselves, which is great. I sure am glad to be part of the Smith’s system and being able do this. Together, everybody achieves more (T.E.A.M.)!

＜スミス英会話 －学校間の協力－＞ ２００８年３月６日（金）
先日のスミス英会話セミナーで、新しく川西校Smith’s School of English Kawanishi Schoolのオーナーになったジョンに会いました。 「お互いの学校のビラを二人で協力して配りませんか」と提案したところ、彼はすぐに賛成してくれ今日までに、もう３回も二人でビラ配りをしました。 ３回のうち２回は彼の学校のビラを川西で、あとの１回は塚口で私の学校Smith’s School of English Tsukaguchi Schoolのビラを配りました。 川西Kawanishi Cityでの２回のビラ配りのうち１回は昨日で、あいにく雨でした。 でも川西駅は構内が広く、私たちがビラ配りをする空間があり、濡れずにすみました。 一人でビラ配りをするのはちょっと大変で、特に昨日のような雨やまた風の日はなおさらです。 二人でするのとは全然ちがいます。 同じスミス英会話のジャケットを着て“やる気満々”の二人がビラ配りをしたときのみなさんに与える印象は、とても大きいものがあると思います。 いくら一人で頑張ったとしてもこのパワーには勝てません。 そして配っている私たち自身も、お互い刺激され、やる気を起こし、二人で協力していることからパワーをもらえるのはスゴイことだと思います。 こうやって学校同士で協力できるスミス英会話のシステムは本当に! 素晴らしいと思います。 前にもこのブログに書きましたが、私たちスミス英会話では“ＴＥＡＭ（チーム）”を合言葉に、つまり“Ｔ”はTogether（協力して）、“Ｅ”はEverybody（みんなで）、“Ａ”はAchieves（成し遂げる）そして“Ｍ”はMore（もっと）で、みんなで頑張っています。
