Growth at Smith’s Part 2 : What I See Happening This Fall And Well Beyond!

You are here: Home / Blog / Growth at Smith’s Part 2 : What I See Happening This Fall And Well Beyond!

Hello again everyone!  Recently I’ve been making a fairly continous rant about the virtues of local promotion and doing the basic leg work to grow your Smith’s franchise.  I admit I have been a slow compared to some other fellow franchisees in getting this job done but I made a commitment to change that last Golden Week.  In the relatively short time that has passed since then, my Smith’s School of English Franchise in Kotoen has moved forward.  Good ‘ole, plain and simple local promotion using materials and methods that we developed ourselves, in-house for ourselves to use and benefit from are a key cornerstone to that success.  Now this fall I intend to do repeat that success with another lunge forward.

English is becoming more important than ever as Japan globalizes at an alarming pace.  This fall and well into the next couple of years should represent a unusual opportunity for the Smith’s School of English system.  We are better able and better prepared than any of our competitors to take advantage of this new change taking place.  We have the best people, professional, caring people committed to doing our best and providing the best value for our valued clients.  We have the best system, a simple, easy to work with structure which does not limit us in any way and frankly provides us with all we need to get ahead.

This fall is a time when we must act.  All of our schools can meet and exceed our expectations.  Kotoen has been coasting a bit the past year or so, but that is only because I have not done my job properly and completely yet.  Well, that is about to change as I have set my expectations higher, managably higher expectations which are achievable yet challenging.  Do this through a series of STAGs.  I’m looking forward to this autumn and I’m proud to be working alongside so many of you successful franchisees.  Good luck to us all this coming autumn and well beyond!

Thanks, Martin. I am proud to be working alongside you. I agree with what you wrote. I am already acting and am very happy to see my school growing remarkebly. The last few months have been great months. This success comes from putting in extra effort and using the power of the franchise system. WE at Smith’s School of English have a great English school franchise system in Japan which rewards those in it who put in the effort. Our system is a sleeping giant. There is a huge opportunity for Smith’s School of English franchisees teaching English in Japan to challenge themselves, grow and enjoy a very comfortable lifestyle in Japan all in the safety of a 15-year-old, proven system. This is an exciting time to own and teach English in Japan at a Smith’s School of English franchise. I am happy to be here.
