Hello everyone!
I am new to working at Smith’s School of English in Fukushima, but I have been here many times before. Why? Because of the fantastic food!
My first experience eating in Fukushima was with my girlfriend. We ate at a French restaurant at the shopping street (shotengai) for my birthday last July. The restaurant was very small and didn’t have many seats, but it was very comfortable. The atmosphere was so cozy. Also, the food was really delicious! I had venison (deer meat) for my entree. Venison is a very common meat in my hometown, so I was happy to enjoy it in Japan.
My next experience was having lunch at a yummy okonomiyaki shop. It was also at the shopping street near our english conversation school. Osaka okonomiyaki is the best kind, I think. I had mine with ramen noodles inside. It was a very big okonomiyaki and my stomach was so full after eating all of it. I like to drink beer when I eat okonomiyaki, how about you?
Lastly, I went to a small restaurant near Fukushima Station called a bio-bar. This means they have very healthy food and drinks made from vegetables. They also have meat and seafood in their dishes, if you want it. The taste was so fresh and made my body feel good!
There are so many choices for great food near Smith’s School of English in Fukushima, Osaka. Please enjoy a meal before or after your lesson!
