One of the sites that I check on a regular basis is Ken Rockwell’s. He’s mainly a camera guy (Nikon and Canon) and his advice is dead on. I have listened to his suggestions for the better part of 3 years and his advice on cameras has saved me hours of research and gotten me fabulous shots. He also shares his views on computers (mainly Mac), the iTouch (which he loves) and practically anything he feels about. The best thing is that he tells it like it is. He doesn’t get any of his camera equipment from the vendors so he’s free to speak his mind about the good, and bad, of their products. Recently he wrote a good article about the new iPad and as I know a few students at Smith’s 英会話 Hirakata are considering getting one I thought I’d better share this info with them. Hope it helps – good shopping everyone.
Oh, in case you’re wondering, the photo to the left is one that I took with a Nikon D40 and the 18-200VR with add-on flash (I forget the model) both of which I bought on Ken’s recommendation.
